Access Training classes

To ensure the proper operation of your system environment as well as use of the system, Access offers the following training classes, which may be held at your location, or at our offices:

OrderWriter Administrator Training

This session will review the duties of an OrderWriter Administrator.  Relationships between different files will be defined.  At the end of this course students should be able to: setup new nodes, reload a node when necessary and solve many basic problems.  Students should be able to perform all OrderWriter Administrator day-to-day procedures to support both sales representatives and customers in the field. * Every OrderWriter Site should have one person trained in this area.

AIHOST Training

One day of training that will teach OrderWriter Administrators to distribute software files to your remote user nodes via media and/or electronic download.  The OrderWriter Administrator controls the distribution and installation process using AIHOST.

OrderWriter Sales Training “Train the Trainer”

Give a man a fish feed him for a day, train a man to fish…… we know this saying all too well.  It’s well known because it relays a fundamental truth!  This training session will be offered to allow key personnel within the organization to be trained on the fundamentals of OrderWriter – from the salesman’s perspective.  We will cover all aspects of the class as well as offering a generic sales manual.  This is also a great class for smaller organizations that have a new sales person or manager that needs to be trained.

Profile Training

This two-day session goes beyond the operations of the OrderWriter system to the ability to modify and maintain own configuration and config.ini files.

Smart Export/Report Writer Training

Two days of training that will teach OrderWriter Administrators (configuration training required) to create export of data to enable use in other Window's based applications.  At the end of this class students will be able to create their own Smart Export INI files to export data from the OrderWriter database, create reports from the exported data, and will be able to add options to the OrderWriter drop down menus.  Additionally students will be shown how to utilize the evaluate functionality.

Fundamentals of OrderWriter Interface

The foundation of the success of any OrderWriter installation is the interface to the back office system.  This two-day class is designed to instruct you on the fundamentals of the files necessary to the OrderWriter system.  This is highly recommended for users that have a technical staff or have added additional / new releases of back office software.

OrderWriter Features Training

Two day session to review and assist in setting up features that the customer currently does not have in their environment.  Will include basic configuration changes, accessii.ini changes, config.ini changes, dialog.ini changes, necessary record format changes and necessary ddf changes to be able to distribute.

POW Administrator Training

This session will review the duties of an OrderWriter Administrator with the Pocket PC OrderWriter product (POW).  Relationships between different files will be defined.  At the end of this course students should be able to: setup new nodes, reload a node when necessary and solve many basic problems.  Students should be able to perform all Pocket OrderWriter Administrator day-to-day procedures to support both sales representatives and customers in the field.
