Dilgard Expands Online Ordering Capability
Moves To Ai2 WebWriter For Increased Customer Convenience
CHICAGO - MAY 27, 2010 - Software developer Ai2 announced today that Dilgard Frozen Foods of Fort Wayne, IN, will expand its Ai2 suite to include WebWriter for customer order entry. Responding to a demand for online order entry, the distributor plans to implement the solution in the next two months.
Dilgard is already a customer of Ai2 using the OrderWriter solution for notebook order entry. The company chose to give its customers the ability to order via the Web with Ai2’s WebWriter solution. “When a customer can order online, they save lot of phone time and manpower on a daily basis, and the customer gets his or her order in faster,” said Walsh.
WebWriter is an application for distributors that allows a retailer or restauranteur to handle orders, history, returns and more. WebWriter runs on Microsoft Internet Explorer and is in use by thousands of end users nationwide, according to Ai2.
