Convenient Store Services to Replace Telxons with ACE™ Solution from Ai2
Convenience Store and Grocery Distributor Seeks Superior Functionality
CHICAGO - June 10, 2010 – Software developer Ai2 announced today that Convenient Store Services of Carthage, Missouri will implement the Ai2 ACE solution to replace older data terminals used by retail customers to place orders. ACE™ stands for Automated Customer Entry and Convenient plans to eventually replace all of their Telxons with this solution.
Ai2 serves the distribution marketplace with sales force and customer order entry automation. With more distributors relying on their retail customers to generate their own orders, the need has arisen for a sophisticated solution to replace older devices. Convenient wanted to offer more value and more timely information to their retail customers and ACE will give them the ability to do that.

ACE features two-way communication between a retailer and a distributor that improves business operations for both. Ai2 provides the computer hardware through a partnership with hardware manufacturer Datalogic. ACE users can scan, look up items, see their pricing, track a running order total, handle substitute items and transmit via modem or Internet connection.
Convenient began their operation with the purchase of a small warehouse at 20th and Duquesne in Joplin, MO. In 1992, Convenient Store Services built a 40,000 square foot distribution warehouse and offices at 1825 Industrial Drive in Carthage, MO so that they could operate at a higher level of performance and allow for future growth. In 1994, Tri-Com, Inc. acquired the assets of Coker Candy Company in Parsons, KS giving our company a bigger presence in Kansas. In response to their continued growth and expansion, they added 25,000 more square footage to their warehouse facility in 2002 bringing our total warehouse and office space to approximately 65,000 square feet including two freezers and a climate-controlled cooler area. They deliver to the four-state area within a 175-mile radius of our warehouse facility, covering parts of Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas.
