Henry's Foods Moves to ProSel™
Distributor to Implement iPad® Solution for Sales Team
CHICAGO - March 31, 2011 - Software developer Ai2 announced today that Henry's Foods of Alexandria, MN will implement Ai2's ProSel™ application for its sales team. The application runs on Apple's iPad® tablet computer.
Henry's was looking for a solution that worked for both convenience store sales reps and foodservice sales reps. They are two distinct types of business with different requirements, so it made sense to select a vendor with many clients in each industry. "We're thrilled to have Henry's aboard," said Douglas Katich, CEO of Ai2. "The iPad is about more than books, movies and games. Henry's understands the potential for major improvements in the daily sales process and a solid return on their investment."
ProSel is the latest in a long line of innovative products from the 25-year software veteran. Katich sees the iPad and its robust software possibilities as the "future" of order entry in distribution. The application handles orders, returns and several other sales representative function in an intuitive, easy-to-use application that requires almost no training, according to Katich. "Nowadays, it's about more than just orders. The sales rep has to present a lot of material to the customer at every visit, and this will help Henry's organize their promotional information as well as their orders."
