Ai2 Featured in Convenience Distribution Magazine
Software Developer Recognized in Technology Article
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA - March 31, 2011 - Software company Ai2 was featured in a recent story in Convenience Distribution, the official publication of the American Wholesale Marketers Association.
The article, titled "A Good Investment," profiled some of the top companies who are providing software to the convenience store industry. Convenience distributors are moving toward advanced technology solutions at a fast pace, and Ai2 is proud to be a large part of that. "Our latest application allows the sales force to remain more in touch with the customers throughout the selling process," said Douglas Katich, CEO of Ai2. Katich was referring to ProSel™, Ai2's new application for the Apple iPad®.
There are a number of ways to automate your business processes, and you can choose from several vendors for warehouse operations, sales force automation or voice picking. Katich cites "reliability, scalability and flexibility" as Ai2's advantages in the marketplace. Katich said that Ai2's solutions deliver a solid return on investment for companies of all sizes, which is critical in an industry of companies ranging from $1 million to $1.5 billion in annual sales.
The article highlights Harold Levinson Associates of Farmingdale, NY, one of Ai2's clients. Director of Special Projects Michael Berro cited the time saved by HLA's salespeople and customers as a direct result of implementing Ai2 solutions. "We do not have to waste time on phones with Telxon orders, and [with better information] we don't miss anything," said Berro.
The American Wholesale Marketers Association (AWMA) is the only international trade organization working on behalf of convenience distributors in the United States. Its distributor members represent more than $85 billion in U.S. convenience product sales.
