Eighty-Year Veteran Selects iPad Automation
CHICAGO - June 9, 2011 - Software developer Ai2 announced today that City Wholesale Grocery of Birmingham, Alabama will implement ProSel, Ai2's iPad-based mobile solution for salespeople.
City Wholesale's sales force was using Telxon devices for data collection and order entry and experiencing communication problems as a result of the devices' dependence on acoustic technology. The leap forward to the iPad is a large one, considering many models of Telxon are twenty years old. City sales reps will now have complete access to a wealth of product and customer data that will help them be more productive in the field.
