Ai2 CEO Joins Board of Trustees for Union League Boys and Girls Clubs
CHICAGO - September 28, 2011 - Software developer Ai2 today announced the appointment of CEO Douglas Katich to the board of trustees for the Union League Boys and Girls Clubs.
"It's a great honor to be able to help these young men and women of our community," said Katich, a ULCC member of several years.
According to its website, The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs changes lives at 5 locations in the Chicago area and a Camp in Salem, Wisconsin. Programming ensures all members realize their dreams and reach their full potential, while providing healthy meals and a safe and positive environment for neighborhood kids. In the communities they serve, residents suffer from some of the lowest educational attainment levels and the highest dropout and poverty rates in the city, with the majority of kids coming from single parent households. 93% of the children qualify for a free or reduced lunch in school.
